MEET THE ARTIST

Self-taught abstract artist with a passion for creativity and expression. My artistic journey spans various mediums, with acrylic being my primary canvas.

Art has always been a part of my life, thanks to the influence of my talented artistic Dad.

However, my profound motivation for painting arose when my two year old grandson was diagnosed with cancer.

Although he tragically passed away at the age of 8, his memory and my emotions found solace  in the strokes of my artwork.

I've discovered that art is not only a personal release from grief but also a powerful means of communicating complex emotions.

In the vivid strokes and colours of my artwork, I find solace, a realm where the pain subsides, if only for a moment, allowing me to honor my grandsons memory and navigate the turbulent waters of my emotions.

I have lead a life filled with triumphs and tribulations, at 34 I endured the heart-wrenching loss of my husband, leaving me to raise our children. ( I am so extremely proud of the three of them, and the amazing adults they have become.) The passing of my mother marked a profound chapter in my life, as her presence was a cherished cornerstone. As a children's author, I have published two children's books, a literacy legacy of true love to my five grandchildren.

My family is the heartbeat of my existence, the cherished treasures that light up my world and provide me with strength to persevere through life's challenges.

My story I guess is one of love, resilience, and an unbreakable bond that tie my family together.

I invite  you to explore my artistic journey and the stories it tells.
